In looking at the
scoring criteria it appears that 20% of the weighting is around partnering with
other districts or the ESD. We have a school that has a real need and
would be a good candidate. Unfortunately, there is little opportunity to
partner, per the requirement. It would appear that we would be at a
disadvantage right out of the gate and it may not even be worth the effort to
apply. Can you please explain the rational for such a large weighting for
the partnering aspect and how that might affect our chances of successfully
obtaining a grant.
